|Following water issues in the Owens Valley is about as easy as catching lakebed dust in a gust of wind. Looking for some way to cup your hands around the issues? Join the Owens Valley Committee for our third meeting in a series of informal "water gossip" discussions Wednesday, April 4, from 6:30 to 8:30. Once again, we'll meet at the Pizza Factory at 970 North Main Street in Bishop, California (and yes, we'll trade food for thought). To find us, go through the arcade door and turn left. We'll be in the large meeting room with glass windows on the east side of the arcade room.
Although we call it water gossip, the goal is to share information rather than rumors, so once again we will stock the meeting with people who regularly swim in water documents. Please bring any questions you have about Owens Valley water issues or any information you would like to share about local water pumping, policy, or practice. Or simply bring your ears and a thirst to learn. As always, little fish to big fish are welcome; red herrings will be discouraged.
