Nichols, J.D., President of the Los Angeles Board of Water and Power Commissioners, and Director of the Institute of the Environment of UCLA, will address the great Los Angeles-Owens Valley divide in "The City of Los Angeles and the Eastern Sierra: Can This Marriage Be Saved?" Wednesday, May 10, at 7 p.m. The lecture, part of Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Lab's spring lecture series, will be at the Green Church (Hwy. 395 and Benton Crossing Road). Admission is free and the public is welcome. The lecture will last approximately one hour.
